One Hundred Years of Scientific Leadership
The Faculty of Science at Cairo University is one of the oldest and most distinguished scientific institutions in Egypt and the Arab world. Established in 1925 as the first faculty dedicated to the basic sciences within Egyptian universities, it has spent a century educating generations of scientists and researchers. Over the years, the Faculty has expanded to encompass a wide range of scientific disciplines while maintaining its leadership in education, scientific research, and community service. Today, the Faculty celebrates its centennial, reaffirming its position as a beacon of science and knowledge in Egypt and the Middle East.
