Instructions for Obtaining and Activating Your Academic Email

 

1. How to Obtain Your Academic Email Password

      please follow these steps:

1. Take a clear photo of your university ID card.

2. Send the photo of your ID card to the Information Technology Unit (ITU) email:
   itu@sci.cu.edu.eg

3. The ITU will reply to your email with the required login credentials.

2. How to Activate Your Academic Email

      After receiving your login credentials, please follow these steps:

1. Go to Gmail:  www.gmail.com

2. Enter your academic email address and the password provided by the ITU.

3. Follow the instructions displayed on the screen to complete the account activation process.

3. Important: Enable 2-Step Verification

For the security of your academic Google account, you must enable 2-Step Verification within 10 days of activating your academic email.
